I grew up in the small mountain town of Windermere, BC, where my love for skiing started at Panorama. What began as weekend races quickly turned into a lifelong pursuit of speed, precision, and purpose. Eventually, I discovered ski cross, which is a discipline that combined everything I loved about skiing. The intensity of head-to-head racing, the variety of terrain, and the strategy that makes every run unpredictable.
Since making my World Cup debut in 2019, I’ve had the honour of representing Canada on the world stage, standing on more than ten World Cup podiums, competing at three World Championships, and racing at the 2022 Winter Olympics, where I finished 6th. Most recently, I brought home a silver medal from the 2025 FIS Freestyle World Championships in St. Moritz; one of the proudest moments of my career so far.
The road here hasn’t been easy. Like many athletes, I’ve faced injuries that forced me to step away from competition, at times unsure of what the comeback would look like. Every setback has taught me something invaluable about resilience and perspective. Those months off snow became opportunities to rebuild physically, mentally, and professionally, as I completed my Commerce degree at the University of Calgary. Balancing academics and elite sport helped me understand performance from every angle, and strengthened my drive to keep pushing for another Olympic appearance in 2026.
What many people don’t see is the reality behind the results. As athletes, we pour everything into this dream, but most of us are barely making ends meet. We rely on the generosity of supporters and sponsors to keep training, traveling, and competing at the highest level. Every bit of support directly fuels the pursuit of excellence like helping cover essentials like equipment, team fees, and training expenses.
