Hi everyone! My name is Eleri Smart. I am racing as an independent athlete for Canada. My journey in ski racing started when I was little. Both of my parents are ski instructors, and my older sister is a ski racer as well. My whole life I have loved this sport and throughout all the ups and downs over the years my passion to keep improving has never gone away.
For the past two seasons I have competed on the NorAm and European Cup circuits. Prior to that I completed four seasons racing for the University of Denver on the D1 NCAA circuit while completing a Bachelor of Science.
My goals for the 2025/26 season are to consistently achieve top results in the NorAm races and to win an overall NorAm discipline title, which would allow me to secure a spot racing on the World Cup circuit for the next season. I will also be competing in international races including European Cup races and other FIS races in Europe in order to improve my world ranking.
As an independent athlete, I fund my entire season through sponsorships and personal donors. Without the backing of my national governing body, every partnership and donation makes a meaningful difference and allows me to pursue my goals at the highest level. Thank you for any support you are willing to lend me!
