Hi everyone! My name is Eleri Smart. I am racing as an independent athlete for Canada. My journey in ski racing started when I was little. Both of my parents are ski instructors, and my older sister is a ski racer as well. My whole life I have loved this sport and throughout all the ups and downs over the years my passion to keep improving has never gone away.
For the past two seasons I have competed on the NorAm and European Cup circuits. Prior to that I completed four seasons racing for the University of Denver on the D1 NCAA circuit while completing a Bachelor of Science.
My goals for the 2025/26 season are to consistently achieve top results in the NorAm races and to win an overall NorAm discipline title, which would allow me to secure a spot racing on the World Cup circuit for the next season. I will also be competing in international races including European Cup races and other FIS races in Europe in order to improve my world ranking.
As an independent athlete, I fund my entire season through sponsorships and personal donors. Without the backing of my national governing body, every partnership and donation makes a meaningful difference and allows me to pursue my goals at the highest level.
Thank you for any support you are willing to lend me, and please feel free to reach out if you would like to chat more about my journey!
