My name is Jasper Matthe, a 22-year-old snowboardcross athlete on the BC Snowboard Team. I began snowboarding at six, and by 15, I was competing in races. At 16, I made history by winning my high school's Provincial Championships for the first time. Since then, I have been competing internationally, working toward my ultimate goal—the Olympics. Over the past few years, I’ve been dedicated to the European and North American tours, steadily climbing the ranks.
I am currently ranked 9th on the North American Tour (Noram), a significant jump from 22nd last year, and I have broken into the top 100 snowboardcross athletes in the world. Additionally, I am now ranked 8th in Canada, further solidifying my position among the country’s top riders. These achievements highlight my commitment to excellence and my drive to compete at the highest level.
