I am a 20-year-old freestyle skier competing on the Nor Am circuit with the BC park and pipe team. I am currently unfunded and am seeking assistance on my journey towards showcasing my ability on elite stages around the world.
At 15 years old, I made the decision to leave a childhood of competitive hockey to peruse my rapidly growing passion for freeskiing. I quickly made a name for myself around the terrain park in whistler, with an unwavering outward expression of my love for the sport. After just 3 seasons of competing, I was selected to the provincial slopestyle & big air team. My goals quickly became, and persist to be, making the step to the Canadian National Team, alongside competing at the world cup and Olympic level.
Unfortunately, I endured a tear in my ACL and meniscus at the very beginning of my first season on the provincial team (Dec. 2024). This felt like an incredibly large test of my dedication to the sport, yet without hesitation, I spent the next 9 months rehabbing in the gym without missing a day. My commitment to recovery paid off during the 2025/26 season, allowing me to return to the level I had previously competed at. In my first event back, the Whistler Nor Am Big Air in April, I secured a finals qualification and earned a 12th-place finish. I’m looking forward to the competitive opportunities of the 2026/27 season and am excited to showcase what I’m capable of after a strong summer of training.
My training and competition expenses come to about $40,000 annually. This involves team fees, travel costs, lift tickets/competition fees, and additional training camp expenses. As an unfunded athlete and part-time university student working to support myself, the generosity of supporters helps me continue pursuing my passion to the fullest extent.
Your contribution, regardless of the amount, will significantly impact my journey. Relieving financial strain enables me to focus fully on my performance and take concrete steps toward achieving my goals. I am deeply grateful for your support and generosity.
