My name is Kendra Giesbrecht, and I’m a 19-year-old alpine ski racer from St. Albert, Alberta. I’ve been competing for 13 years, and this past season marked my debut with the Canadian Alpine Ski Team – Development Team (CAST D-Team). Skiing has been my lifelong passion, and I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come in my career.
Currently ranked among the top racers in the country, this year I was honoured to represent Canada at the FIS Alpine World Junior Ski Championships, compete in my first Europa Cup race, and be crowned this season’s Giant Slalom (GS) National Champion. These milestones reflect the dedication and drive I bring to the mountain every day. My goal is clear: to compete on the World Cup circuit. With every turn, every race, I’m getting closer — and I’m grateful for the journey.
My family has made incredible sacrifices to get me to this point, and they continue to be my greatest supporters. That is why I am turning to you, my fellow ski racing enthusiasts, for support. Donations raised on this platform will go directly to help offset my team fees for the 2024-25 season. Your support can help me continue to pursue my dreams and push the boundaries of what is possible on the mountain.
