My name is Max Moore, an 18-year-old competitive freestyle skier from Ottawa, Ontario. Having recently graduated as an Ontario Scholar, I've dedicated myself full-time to skiing, with the ambition of joining the National team and representing Canada in the 2030 and 2034 Olympics. My journey began with the Ontario Provincial Ski Team in the 2021-2022 season, where I competed across Canada and achieved impressive results for my rookie year, including 7th place in Slopestyle at Sun Peaks Canada Cup and 13th in Big Air at the Calgary Canada Cup.

Despite facing significant challenges in the 2022-2023 season, including a meniscus tear in my right knee and a severe injury while training in New Zealand that required ACL surgery, I remained resilient and determined. I viewed these setbacks as opportunities to grow stronger and more prepared. While in rehab I was able to give back to the Fortune Freestyle Ski Club. As a Certified Coach I had the opportunity to support youth ski teams, balancing individual skill development with team dynamics, and using coaching techniques to help young athletes manage stress. Nine months post-operation, I am on the brink of returning to the slopes, more passionate and driven than ever.

Your support would be invaluable in helping me reach my goals faster and showcasing my talent on the world stage. Together, we can make my dream of representing Canada in the Olympics a reality, inspiring others with a story of perseverance, dedication, and unwavering passion.
