My name is Riley Kilmer-Choi and I am a 25 year old snowboard racer from Oakville, Ontario. I have had the honor of being a member of the Canadian team for almost a decade. During that time, I have simultaneously completed a bachelor of software engineering degree at Concordia University, and worked full time as a software engineer to fund my athletic dreams. Ultimately, my goal is to bring home hardware for team Canada at the biggest international stages of the Olympics and World Championships!

Throughout my athletic career I have earned several remarkable results, including North American cup wins, top 10s at international competitions such as Junior World Champs and European cups, as well as countless provincial titles. Last season I earned a personal World Cup spot by finishing 3rd overall on the North American tour. After completing a full season of World Cup races it has become apparent to me that in order to make the next step in my career, it would take a much greater investment of time and effort than I can afford while being employed full-time. It is for this reason that from the bottom of my heart I am asking for your support.

Your support will enable me to invest more time towards both on and off snow training, recovery, and equipment preparation + testing + research. It will also allow me to allocate funds towards support staff such as sport psychologists, nutritionists, and trainers. There is no doubt in my mind that these factors, stemming from your donations, will result in me achieving my goals of international success.

Thank you so much for joining my team as we take on this final hurdle.
