Hello! My name is Shihao (Sophia) Bao and I am 15 years old going into the following season. I did alpine snowboarding for two years when I was in Beijing, and got 8th in Provincials back then. After coming to Toronto, I did boardercross for two years and got multiple top three placements in all the provincial events, as well as 8th in Nationals. From this, I was in the Ontario Provincial Development team for boardercross for two years. This past season, I went back to Alpine snowboarding and got 1st in Provincials and 3rd & 4th in Nationals. I am also currently in the Ontario Provincial Snowboard Team this season for Alpine.

In this following season, I hope to adapt into the FIS category and focus on self improvement after competing with the best athletes in this sport. I wish to reach the training goals that my coach and I have set up such as improving my personal times in different rounds of competition and focusing on my positions and actions throughout the races.
