Hi, my name is Estelle Martin, a 21-year-old athlete in my second year on the Canadian National Development Ski Team. My skiing journey began at Mont Sutton, and I’ve been passionate about ski racing since I was 7 years old. At 13, I had the incredible opportunity to attend Burke Mountain Academy in Vermont, a decision that played a crucial role in my growth both as an athlete and an individual.
I spent one season competing with the Quebec Ski Team, during which I represented Canada at the World Junior Championships. Unfortunately, I crashed during the Team Event and tore my ACL and meniscus. After returning from injury and undergoing knee surgery, I dedicated myself fully to rehab. Regardless of the setback, it was a valuable experience that motivated me even more.
Since then, I have returned to competition and competed at World Juniors two more times. In the 2024–2025 season in Tarvisio, I finished 15th, and this past season I finished 14th in Super-G, with the Downhill event being canceled in Narvik. At Canadian Nationals this season, I finished 2nd and made progress in tech events. On the Nor-Am circuit, I finished 3rd overall in Downhill in the 2024–2025 seasons, and this year I finished top 10 overall in both Super-G and Downhill.
My focus moving forward is on continuing to improve my results, lowering my technical points, and improving my Nor-Am rankings in all events, while adding more Europa Cup starts to further prepare myself.
As I prepare for the upcoming season, I am seeking support to help cover my training and competition expenses. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated and will go a long way in helping me achieve my goals and continue competing at a high level.
Thank you for considering supporting me.
