Hi, I’m Juliette, a 13-year-old freestyle snowboarder from Toronto, and I’ve been in love with board sports for as long as I can remember. It all started with a small pink skateboard at home, and by the time I was 8, I was hitting the slopes at Alpine Ski Club, where my passion for snowboarding really took off. There’s nothing like the feeling flying off a jump and carving through the snow, and I knew right away this was what I wanted to do.

At 9, I started competing in inter-club competitions, and I was thrilled to consistently land on the podium. Those early competitions gave me the confidence to keep pushing myself. Last year, at 12, I took a big step up to the Provincial Circuit and Junior Nationals for the first time. It was an incredible season—I earned a silver medal in the Provincial Circuit, another silver at the Provincial Championships, and wrapped up the year with three bronze medals at Junior Nationals in Slopestyle, Halfpipe, and Rail Jam. Those results ranked me third in Canada in my age group U13 girls' across all three disciplines, and I’m so proud of how far I’ve come.

Winter is my favorite time of year. I love spending it in the terrain park at Alpine Ski Club, learning new tricks and riding fresh powder after a big snowstorm. This season, I’m focused on improving my frontside rotations, nailing my switch tricks, and getting smoother with spins on and off rails. I want to build on the skills and momentum I gained last year to become the best snowboarder I can be.

Snowboarding is my passion, and I cherish every moment I get to spend on the slopes. Whether I’m practicing at Alpine, hanging out with friends and family, or chasing new goals, I’m always counting down the days until winter. I’m excited to keep growing, learning, and sharing my love for snowboarding with everyone around me!
