I’m proud to be a rising Canadian athlete competing in snowboardcross after my late debut in March of 2018.  At the mature age of 21 I got the taste of gold in a Provincial Series hosted in Big White Ski Resort.  Prior to this race, I had been snowboarding at a very recreational level, but I was quickly reminded of a childhood dream to compete in elite snowboarding competitions.

I grew up in central Alberta where access to snow sport opportunities were few and far between.  My family was fortunate enough to introduce me to recreational skiing at the age of four, (later switching to snowboarding at age ten), and made some family trips during spring break, but it wasn’t in the cards to train or compete with a snowboard team.  I’ve always been an athlete though, playing every sport in the book from hockey to gymnastics, baseball, volleyball and even basketball in high school where I was scouted by university teams.

Shortly after my first snowboardcross Provincial Series I entered into a North American Cup level race where I placed second last… but that didn’t deter me.  At that time I had set a massively unrealistic goal to win gold in the 2022 Winter Olympic Games. Looking back on this goal, it was nuts, but I genuinely believe that it threw me into an inspired and motivated mindset that has placed me where I am today.

My greatest achievements to date include winning the North American Cup tour in 2023 with ten consecutive podiums and four wins, and placing 9th in the 2023/24 Les Deux Alpes, France World Cup.  I’m thoroughly dedicated to continuing this upward trajectory as I strive to qualify for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, and continue to hold Gold in the forefront of my mind.

Over the years I have immersed myself as an entrepreneur, working on sponsorships with brands inside and outside of the snowboarding industry, with some success and lots of ‘no’s’.  Many snowboarding-industry leaders focus their attention on freestyle athletes, but I have been able to find my way onto corporate stages as an inspirational speaker, and I’m thrilled to continue down that pathway.  I’m also really excited to have access to the Snow Athletes Canada platform to open a new avenue of fundraising while continuing to grow personally and professionally, all while demonstrating to others that it’s never too late to go after your dreams.
