Support the Future of Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding
After over three years of work and thousands of volunteer hours we are almost there but to open in 2025 we need your help. Due to increased costs and unexpected delays, we’re reaching out to ask for your support in opening and operating LAUNCH — a cutting-edge High-Performance Training Facility located at Horseshoe Valley Resort near Barrie, Ontario.
Every donation brings us one step closer to offering athletes and coaches access to a world-class training environment, right here in Ontario — and every donation is eligible for a tax receipt.
What is LAUNCH?
LAUNCH is co-owned by Ontario Snowboard and Freestyle Ontario, both not-for-profit Provincial Sport Organizations.
LAUNCH is designed to be a premier off-season training facility dedicated to Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding. It offers a safe, progressive, and cost-effective environment where athletes can build their skills, confidence, and performance.
Facility Highlights
As the first of its kind in Ontario, our downslope airbag facility represents a groundbreaking opportunity for athletes to hone their skills without leaving home. This state-of-the-art training platform will not only empower Ontario's talented skiers and snowboarders to progress their abilities year- round, but it will also serve as a beacon of inspiration for the entire community, fostering a sense of pride and unity around the pursuit of excellence in winter sports.
- A 200-foot-long, 50-foot-wide scaffolding structure featuring:
- A 35-foot jump
- A 45-foot jump
- Two standard trampolines (7’ x 14’)
- One Super Trampoline (10’ x 29’) with custom throw/landing mats

Airbag landings designed for safety, progression, and year-round use
