My name is Caily Lemmex. I am a competitive Snowboard Cross (SBX) athlete on the Ontario High Performance Team. I live in Dunrobin, Ontario and train at Mont Ste. Marie Quebec with Club Prestige. I started cross training by BMX racing in the summer of 2024 and ranked provincially and nationally. I'm also trying a powerlifting competition because my dryland trainer says my lifts are competitive.
Thanks to Canada Snow Athletes donations I was able to compete in 2025. Because of your support I finished my U15 run as the Canadian Junior SBX National Champion, Ontario Provincial Champion and Quebec Provincial Champion. I also won the Ottawa Sports Award for top Snowboarder in 2024 and was also nominated for the SBX Female Athlete of the Year by Quebec Snowboard in 2024 and 2025. https://www.caily-sbx.com/results
My goal this year:
As I enter my first season as a FIS athlete, am focused on increasing my speed, refining my technique, and competing in my first NORAM events. I'm so excited to race the bigger more challenging tracks.
My long term goal:
I want to represent Canada at the Junior World Cup, the 2028 Youth Olympics, SBX World Cups and the 2030 Winter Olympics.
With thanks
For two years, the Canada Snow Athletes helped me raise enough money to compete. My mom and I are so grateful to everyone who donated and to this organization for making it possible.
